Support for the national decriminalisation of cannabis is rising – ABC News

A recent survey by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare suggests that nearly 8 in 10 Australians support the national decriminalisation of cannabis. And data from the Australian Electoral Commission shows that The Legalise Cannabis Party almost doubled their primary vote in the recent Federal Election. Buoyed by the result the party says its next focus was the upcoming state elections in New South Wales and Victoria.
